Meet Tjelta
The name "Tjelta" was the middle name of Paul Steelman's Scandinavian grandmother, Inga Tjelta Andreasson. Inga immigrated to the United States in 1915 from Tjelta, a small village south of Stavanger in Norway.

"I really wanted to design a simple structure influenced by my Scandinavian heritage, the California weather, light, and the beautiful surroundings of Mammoth." - Paul Steelman
